Holiday Gift Ideas for Your Loved Ones

Now, I am not known for my gift ideas during the holidays, but I feel like enough people have asked me for gift ideas that a blog post felt worthy. Instead of breaking up the gift receiver categories by family name (mom, dad, sister, brother, etc.), I broke up the categories by pronoun (he/him, she/her, they/them, and then any age). I hope this gift idea blog post inspires someone to gift something new to that special loved one.

Items will be linked when appropriate, and if there are any affiliate links posted, I will receive a small commission on purchases made through that link.

Thank you for your support during this holiday season, and any season! Let’s get started…

Gift Ideas for He/Him

Solid Color T-Shirts or Sleeve-Shirts

Sometimes, guys need a lending hand when it comes to styling themselves with apparel. Having basic, solid color t-shirts or sleeve-shirts is a great gift idea that is easy to do. Just make sure you get them the right size, and gift receipts are always helpful in case it runs small.

Places I love to shop for these basic staples are Walmart, Target, Old Navy, Marshall's/TJ Maxx, Gabe's, Amazon

Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker

I believe that outdoor speakers can be used by anyone, whether it was used for music or some other auditory purpose. I've trusted brands such as: Wonderboom, JBL, Altec, all with great success.

Places I suggest shopping for outdoor Bluetooth speakers are Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart

Phone Case or Screen Protector

Whether the person you are gifting a phone case or screen protector is clumsy or not, I think it is a great idea for anyone with a smart phone. Of course, make sure you get the right type of phone case & the right version of screen protector for the person you are giving it to.

Places I suggest getting tech accessories are Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target

Sports Gear Apparel

This gift idea goes out to that person who reaps their sports love daily. There are some great websites & sellers out there that sell custom made sports gear apparel for every professional sport. You know that this person will wear this apparel at least once to rep the pride for their team.

Places I suggest getting sports gear apparel are Fanatics, FansEdge, 500Level, Walmart

Gift Ideas for She/Her

Spa Pampering Set

Who ever said no to a little relaxing time? There are so many things you can toss into a little spa pampering kit, or just buy a pre-made one.

Some things I would toss into a spa pampering set are Epsom salt, body scrub, body butter, aloe infused socks, face/hand/foot mask, facial ice roller, facial steamer, etc.

Perfume Sampler Set

There are so many retailers that now offer perfume trial sets, letting you sample small portions of perfume for a smaller cost than one big bottle you don't end up liking. I've never received one myself, but I wouldn't say no to some good scents.

Mini Candle Set

I would love to receive a mini candle set, since I can never get enough candles! I burn through candles constantly, as I have dogs which have their own odor, along with daily cooking in the house. Mini candles are a great gift for she/her, as they come in many scents, and it can be different than a candle. Many it's a wax melt, or a room spray. But things that make the home smell good, make me smell good & I bet others feel the same way.

Some stores that sell mini candle sets are Target, Walmart, and Amazon.

Photo Album (physical or digital)

It might be scientifically proven that women take more photos than men, but those who identify as she/her might want to have a physical or digital display of the photos they love to refer to often. For some, a physical photo album might be too big, in terms of space in the room. And there are great digital photo album options available in what looks like a moving picture frame.

Stores such as Amazon or Best Buy might be your best bet for a digital photo frame. For a physical photo album, try a craft store such as Hobby Lobby or Michaels.

Something handmade

Receiving something that was handmade makes the gift more meaningful, in my eyes. The gift giver took at least more than 5 minutes to put together a gift for the gift receiver, and the mind can go crazy with imagination on this gift idea.

Ideas for handmade gifts are DIY cakes in mason jars, holiday-themed cookies, holiday-themed Chex puppy chow, family desserts, etc.

Gift Ideas for They/Them

Cozy Throw Blanket

Everyone in their life needs to have at least one throw blanket that they can casually throw on themselves whenever it's time to get cozy and watch a movie on the couch. There are so many shops and places to get cozy throw blankets from, both manufactured and also handmade.

Wireless Charger

With our day and age being in the wireless charging error, where every phone is almost wireless charging compatible, wireless chargers are a great commodity to have. My phone is wireless charging, and it makes my life so much easier to just place it down on the charger instead of finessing the cord to making it fit in the proper port. It's just the little things that make life a little easier.

Coffee/Tea Set

I am not sure if the person you are gifting is a coffee or a tea drinker, but if they are one of the two, a coffee / tea set might be something to consider as a gift. There are many nationwide coffee chains that sell pre-made gift sets for their coffee. But I highly suggest going to your local coffee shop or tea house and see what they have to sell in terms of coffee or tea sets. You might be surprised with what you find!

Tile Tracker

I have owned multiple Tile Trackers for multiple years, and I wish I could buy more for myself honestly. They are such a great asset for those who tend to lose things, or at least want an extra sense of security for their belongings. I keep my Tile Trackers in important locations, and also on my wireless earbuds.

I highly suggest finding a Tile Tracker at your local Target or Walmart, or also this Amazon Link — https://amzn.to/3ES5c2p

Journal & Pens

This is another thing I think more people should have at least once in their life. I believe it is important to document at least your thoughts or your daily occurrences, in a journal. And of course, you will need a pen to write in said journal, so why not gift that person a journal and a pen? You could possibly find a journal with a pen included, or maybe a journal with a pen slot for you to customize the pen that the person receives. Let your mind be as creative as you want.

Gift Ideas for Any Age

Visa Gift Card

You can never go wrong with a Visa gift card. I do not believe there is a age limit for gift cards, as a minimum age. And the gift card limit I believe can range from $5 to $200+.

Homemade Treats

Another thing that almost any one of any age can enjoy is a homemade treat, especially a holiday themed treat. I have multiple Pinterest boards dedicated to just food, and most of them are dessert related anyhow. Feel free to take a peek if you need some homemade treat ideas you can make yourself.

JLabs JBud Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds

I honestly swear by these wireless earbuds, and the quality is unmatched when it comes to their amazing price point. Recently since Black Friday, these wireless earbuds have been on sale. And there are many different versions of these JLab JBud wireless earbuds. I've had the black set for about 2 years now, and still going strong. My husband owns the white set, and they both perform the same and have great sound quality. And I have also recommended them to multiple friends looking for new wireless earbuds that are cheap or cheaper than Apple AirPods.

A Groupon Experience

There are so many Groupon experiences you can look into in your local area, and they can vary base off of interest and price point. Some Groupon experiences I would recommend are a float bath, a body massage, rock climbing, discounted food and drink…the list goes on. Pick an experience that the specific individual would be interested in. And of course, make sure it is age appropriate.

A relaxing activity (crossword puzzle, connect-the-dots, coloring book, etc.)

Even as an adult, I still love using a connect-the-dots book or a coloring book to decompress and let my mind roam free. And they can be as detailed, or as simple, as you desire. Depending on the age range of the crowd you are gifting, make the relaxing activity appropriate for that person. I highly suggest it, and just got gifted some myself (thanks, Husband!)
