What's in My Bag?

If you are interested in the old fashion version of a blog post, you're in luck today! So many colleagues at my work ask me where I get certain things I pull out from my purse, or where my purse is from. That's what this whole blog post is about! Let's dive into my purse, and see what's in it.

First off - the bag I am carrying is a Kate Spade New York Rima Medium Satchel in the color Sparrow. It is a lightweight purse, with plenty of zippers, Kate Spade emblems everywhere, and can still pack a lot in it while looking slim. My mother-in-law scored me a great deal with this purse on Black Friday! Gotta love the clearance section of the Kate Spade outlet store.

A Pencil Bag with Midliner Highlighters

For my pencil bag, I use an old Ipsy bag. They are the perfect size for my Midliner Highlighters. If you don’t know about these amazing, dual-tip highlighters, you are about to place an order to buy them after reading this blog post. They are the best highlighters I have ever used, and I am a huge fan of stationery. The colors are mostly in the pastel range, and I love exploring pastel colors when highlighting boring pieces of work information that I need to have stand out. Fun colors makes the dull stuff exciting. Get exciting highlighters and get a cool pencil bag that has multiple purposes.

You can buy these highlighters at Target or on Amazon.

JLabs JBuds Air True Wireless Earbuds

If you are on the fence about buying Apple Airpods, get off the bandwagon and purchase these true wireless earbuds ASAP. I received these earbuds as a gift for Christmas, and they are one of my favorite gifts ever received. They have 3 different boost modes, easy to use buttons, a portable charging case with an included wire, and unbeatable noise cancelling. When I used these on a phone call with my husband, he could hear the baby in the store crying in the aisle next to me. How crazy is that?

I didn’t know that these earbuds could pick up such minute details, but they are too amazing to just read about. You need to purchase these today. And did I mention how slim they are, but how they pack the bass in your music? Oh - and no annoying stems. Sorry, Apple.

You can buy these truly wireless earbuds at Target.

Moleskine Dotted Notebook

With the highlighters mentioned above, I decorate and plan out my weekly and monthly schedules in my dotted notebook. I use it as a bullet journal, which I use as the ultimate customized bullet journal. I love using this notebook, and it has lasted me for almost a year now - despite the hustle and bustle that goes on in my bag. Moleskine is such a trustworthy brand, in my eyes. Every time I use their products, I am always pleased.

I decorated my black dotted notebook with some HP Sprocket photos that I printed out of my wedding, my dog, and my blog logo!

You can find this notebook at Target.

Reusable Cutlery Set

If you are not aware, I love rose gold. I love rose gold so much that I wanted it in my cutlery. My sister-in-law got me this cutlery set for Christmas, along with some amazing reusable bags and an adorable bento box for my lunches. Anyways, I love this cutlery set. It includes 2 straws, a straw cleaner, a fork, knife, and spoon. And it is all in a slim carrying case! You can’t the price, and Amazon does not fail at this great find.

You can find this cutlery set on Amazon.

Dr. PawPaw Multipurpose Soothing Balm

This soothing balm is a Marshall’s find that does more than you would think! I have used this balm for months, and yet it keeps going and helping me in my rough patches - literally. I love using this balm for my lips, my hair, my cuticles, and any other rough patch on my body that just need some soothing relief. The name of this product does not disappoint. And the ingredients are fermented pawpaw, aloe vera leaf juice and olive fruit oil that not only protect and soothe your lips, but moisturize any rough spot that needs some balm on it.

If you can’t find this balm at Marshall’s, try looking on Amazon or your local TJ Maxx.

Flushable Wipes

This is going to be short and sweet, people. Wipes are needed sometimes. And you gotta make sure that they are flush-able. That is all I’m saying.

Rechargeable Battery Pack

I think we have all been in a similar situation where your phone battery is low, and you are a long distance away from anything to charge your phone. It is better to be safe than sorry, and keep a battery pack handy. It’s even better if you have a battery pack with built-in cords, so you don’t have to carry a battery pack and a cord.

You can find battery packs at Walmart, Target, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s…you name it.

Extra Chewy Mints

These have got to be the best mints in the refreshment game. I have to keep them in a separate compartment in my purse, or else my husband will eat them all in one sitting. They chew like gum, but dissipate like a mint in your mouth. I was only able to find these chewy mints at select Target stores in my area. Good luck getting your hands on these!

Flex Flexcup

I could make an entire blog post about the Flex Flexcup. I tried it on a whim one day because I was simply tired of having to buy tampons. And I have not regretted my decision since. The Flex Flexcup has made that time of the month so much easier. Let’s just leave it at that.

If you want a full blog post, please let me know! I am more than glad to help people out with useful information.

Rose Quartz Facial Roller

I have an extended history of jaw pain, facial pain, and general pain around my mouth area. One thing that has helped me to get through the work day is having a facial roller in my purse. I could be stressed at work, gritting my teeth, and not even know why I am in so much pain. It’s my little sense of relaxation in my day, and I love carrying this facial roller around.

Hopefully by now, you have learned about some items you need in your bag or in your backpack.

I like sharing things that have worked for me with others, so they can share the happiness with me!

What should I write about next?
