What is on My Reading List?

I make the occasional trip to Barnes & Noble, but I find myself getting books that I leave on the shelf for MONTHS. There are a couple of books on my reading list that I am interested in sharing with you all today!

Keep reading for the books on my reading list, and where to find them!

What Your Dog Knows—Sophie Collins

I was so intrigued at the cover of this book in the store, I had to snag it up! I mean, who doesn't want to learn more about their dog? I pick up this book every now-and-again to read up on quick dog facts, but one day I intend on sitting down and reading this book, cover to cover. Leaving Time—Jodi Picoult

Jodi Picoult is my favorite woman author currently, and there are many reasons why. After reading her book Nineteen Minutes, I knew that her story-telling fit right into my wheelhouse for fiction books. I don't want to spoil too much from this book, as I have only read the first few pages. But you can check out more info on the book by clicking here!

Paper Towns—John Green

No one can go wrong with reading a John Green novel every now and again. I personally LOVE John Green simply for the way that he narrates his stories. With such raw emotion and reasoning behind his words, John Green is super talented when it comes to story time. I've read Green's other books, like The Fault in Our Stars, but I haven't gotten a chance to read this infamous book yet. You can find out more info about more John Green books by clicking here.

Animal Madness—Laurel Braitman

In case you can't already tell, I am very interested into learning about the animal brain, and what truly goes on behind the "bark". I haven't gotten the chance to read this book, but anything with animals on the cover has my stamp of approval. Also, it's a New York Times Best Seller, so it's gotta be good—right? You can find out more info about the book by clicking here.

Highly Illogical Behavior—John Corey Whaley

Since Garrett graduated with a Psychology Major in 2015, he has piqued my interest in psychology-related books (if you couldn't tell already). So we got this book for both of us, as it basically describes how behavior turns illogical, and the reasoning behind it. You can find more info about the book by clicking here.

Turtles All the Way Down—John Green

Again, another John Green book. He is just so damn talented! This is his most recent release, with bragging rights shown right on the cover (and yet, Green is still humble about his accomplishments). I don't know what this book is about, but I snagged it on a BOGO 50% off deal at Barnes & Noble, and I knew I had to get my hands on this book. I actually got the book online, the day of it's release! To find more info about the book, click here

Capital Gaines—Chip Gaines

Alright, I admit it—I am in love with Fixer Upper. One of the many reasons I love it is because of the adorable chemistry between Chip and Joanna Gaines. I have already completed their first book together, called The Magnolia Story, but I have not read this book yet! It's written by Chip, with the subtitle "smart things I learned doing stupid stuff'." If that subtitle doesn't speak to your inner child, then maybe reading Chip's book can. You can find out more info about the book by clicking here.
